Fukujuen - Houjicha
Houjicha is distinctively different from other teas due to its brown color and roasted fragrance It is invented in 1920s in Kyoto, Japan.
Houjicha is made by roasting loose tea leaves at high temperature followed by cooling it quickly.
This process lowers the caffeine and catechin level which gives Houjicha its mild and roasted taste.
It is great as a drink after a heavy meal or before bed.
